Unbelievable.

It’s official.  Pants and Gator pricing out Caps season tickets for 2011-2012.  Some people are excited:

Some people are Crosby:

I know, Sid.  I know.  Don’t get too mad yet, we probably can’t afford them.

How much did you win in the Lottery?

  2. Season tix in the 400s are $1400. That’s under $35/game, which is really quite good if you can go to every game. Or be bothered to sell your tickets. But Gator and I have decided instead to buy really good seats for just the games we want – Pens, Bolts, Hawks, Wings. That way when Chuck, Dawn or anyone else visits, we can all sit together!

Sidney is relieved. He was really worried about me there for a minute.

Kings tix are pretty easy to come by, I’ll be buying mine for the Hawks, Caps and probably Flyers (shudders). You might want to keep your finances secret or Jeff Skinner might want to know why he’s not a paid intern.

    • Guys – how do you know who’s visiting already?? Did the season schedules get released???

Drew mentioned it as he was leaving my apt this morning.

OMG! Get some seats down in 118 by me! The pictures from the faceoffs alone are worth the extra $$. IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! You can enjoy a full 60 mins of fangirling & every time mikey skates by the glass– You can totally make eye contact.

    • We’ll definitely buy seats in the 100s when we go this season. Better to see Tazer up close than have to watch the Panthers from 426, I say.

  4. That per-game breakdown is what suckered us (4 of us) into tickets 5 seasons ago…~$600 for a seasons-worth of MG52 and Ovie love? SIGN ME UP. The view from the 400 levels ain’t that bad…especially when you can peer into the press box and see away scratches (HELLO MATT GILROY) and Caps players on the mend. We were collectively considering starting a business so we could apply for tickets on the 200 level but couldn’t part with our 400-level family.

I’m going tonight to the select-a-seat event to see what is available. I just couldn’t stay away from the Verizon center any longer.
